Lawrence “Judd” Williams (1934 – 2018) was a well-known teacher, painter and sculptor. He studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and received his MFA from the University of Illinois. Williams was an Art Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY until he retired in 2000. His work is part of the permanent collections of a number of museums and galleries, including the Memorial Art Gallery.
