Robert Marx (1925 – 2020) was born in Germany. He studied at the University of Illinois, where he earned his BFA in painting and his MFA in printmaking. Robert has taught at many universities including, SUNY Brockport, NY, SUNY Binghamton, NY, Syracuse University, NY and the University of Wisconsin, WI. Marx has exhibited extensively in the United States and Europe and is represented in the permanent collections of major museums.
