Thomas Seawell (1936 – 2015) was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his art education at Washington University, St Louis, MO (BFA) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, TX (MFA). Thomas received national recognition for his collagraphs, with the inclusion of his work in the publication, “The Complete Collagraph” by Clare Romano. Seawell has worked in all mediums of printmaking, with his most recent work in silkscreen printing. He has taught at A & M University Commerce, Texas. Seawell’s work has been included in over 50 exhibitions and is represented in over 100 public and private collections.
