Joseph Scheer ( 1958 – ) received his BFA at the School of Art and Design, NYSCC at Alfred University and his MFA from the University of New Mexico. Scheer is currently Professor of Print Media and Co-director/founder of the Institute for Electronic Arts at Alfred University. His work re-examines nature. It has been written about by many publications including National Geographic and the New Times. Scheer has also published 2 books about his work.
