Gordon Mortensen (1938 – ), born in North Dakota, is a specialist in reduction woodcut prints. and his art has been collected by museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Brooklyn Museum and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Mortensen has also been featured in American Artist and Horizons Magazines. “Art,” he declares, “is my addiction, my drug, my life. I am compelled to do it”.
