Karen Kunc (1951 – ), an American printmaker, was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her BFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and MFA from Ohio State University. Karen has been a Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for many years, as well as a visiting Professor/ Artist at many colleges in the U.S., Japan, and Iceland. She has received many prestigious awards and is in the collections of many museums and institutions, such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian, and the J. Paul Getty Museum.
