Juane Quick-to-See Smith ( 1940 – ) is a Native American painter, printmaker and artist from the Flathead Reservation, Montana. She received her B.A. in Art Education from Framingham State College, Massachusetts and her M.A. in Art from the University of New Mexico. Juane works in a wide variety of media but is mostly known for her abstract paints and lithographs. Private and public institutions, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Mankind, Austria, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Museum of Modern Art, NY, have collected her work.
