This lithograph takes as its subject a famous artist’s colony off the coast of Maine.
Jack Bookbinder (1911 – 1990) was born in Odessa, Ukraine. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Tyler School of Fine Arts. Jack served as Art Director of the Philadelphia Public Schools. Bookbinder has won many awards and is represent in many famous collections.
