Nancy Nemec (1924 – 2003) is best known for her work as a fine arts printmaker. She studied at Colby Junior College in New London, NH, Vesper George School of Art, Boston and Columbia University School of General Studies, NY. She taught at Westchester Art Workshop, White Plains, NY, and the Hudson River Museum and at the Manhattanville College. Nancy has shown her work in individual and group exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad. She is represented in public and private collections, and received awards for her prints and sculptures, including medals of Honor from Audubon Artists, the National Association of Women Artists and the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts Exhibitions.
