Kathleen Friedrich
Since growing up in Michigan, Kathleen has lived and worked as an artist, designer, technical illustrator, and educator in places as various as Detroit, New York City, and Athens, Greece. Her work has been exhibited in juried competitions regionally and internationally and can be found in several private collections. She currently works out of her studio in Trumansburg, New York.
In recent years, Kathleen has become fascinated with the cyanotype process and the opportunities it offers for complexity as well as experimentation. These prints from her ongoing Flora series have been described by one reviewer as having a “lyrical and meditative sensibility”.
