The series Composite Elementals explores site-making through abstraction, pattern, the fold, and two-sidedness. Fire, earth, air, and water co-mingle through multiple layers, producing double-sided images. These images reveal a crystalline complexity, with two separate prints placed in juxtaposition, making a whole greater than the parts. These composite prints are arranged and positioned on a backing support, where they are simultaneously floated and tied into place.
